Holiday Smiles is one of our favorite programs!  Throughout the year “Holiday Smiles” spreads joy and laughter by creating special moments and beautiful memories for children and their families. So often families of children diagnosed with childhood cancers are so overwhelmed by all that is associated with the disease, that they are unable to take time to celebrate special holidays, which prior to their diagnosis would seldom pass unnoticed.  Therefore, we create festive, fun atmospheres in which our children and their families can relax and enjoy one another during these special days. Some of our Holiday Smiles programs are: 

Spring Treats – Baskets and treats delivered by the world’s favorite rabbit, Bugs Bunny.  

Halloween Trick or Treat – BrittiCares is honored to participate in this amazing Halloween event for patients and families at CHLA.  This is an exciting way for staff, organizations, etc. to give back and enjoy.   

Thanks Giving With My Family – An elaborate dinner party given at Children’s Hospital on Thanksgiving Day for patients scheduled for treatment.  Family members and Staff are invited. read more   

Give Life For Christmas – An annual blood drive to save the lives of many. read more 

Britti’s Holiday Toy Distribution – Britti’s helpers will spread a little holiday joy by making special deliveries to patient’s rooms at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Each child and their siblings will receive a toy of their choice and decorative stockings filled with smiles and goodies.
